Willett Elementary School

Michelle Berard (AM/PM Lead) Mrs. Berard is ready for her fourth year with ABACUS and brings lots of childcare experience with her including camps, cub scouts, and daycare. She loves spending time with her family including sons Owen and Steven, and stepdaughter Cora. Mrs. Berard enjoys painting, reading, and making her own preserves and salsa. She is really looking forward to seeing her returning students and getting to know each and every student at Willett!

Alexandra Grover (AM Assistant) Ms. Alex is returning to Willett for her second year with the ABACUS program. She is looking forward to meeting any new students and reconnecting with her kids from last year. Ms. Alex is working toward her Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University in Providence. She enjoys school, being with friends and family, baking, and cuddling with her dog!

Danielle Hudon (PM Lead) Ms. Danielle is happy to return for her seventh year at Willett ABACUS. She is mom to Jeffrey, who will be eleven in December and keeps her busy with baseball! She is looking to return to BCC this year, earning a degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys basketball, nature, shopping, and taking Ghost Tours!

Erin Lamoureux (AM Lead) Ms. Erin is happy to return for her seventh school year with ABACUS. She is attending Kaplan University for a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Erin loves crafts, horseback riding, reading, and history. She spends her time off reading, watching movies, and working in her garden. Be sure to ask Ms. Erin about her favorite field trip this summer, Water Wizz!

Kim Laramee (Program Coordinator) Ms. Laramee has been a part of ABACUS since 1995 spending a few years as a head teacher, assistant coordinator, and now the coordinator of the program! She has a degree in Elementary Education from Franklin Pierce University. Ms. Laramee spends her free time with her family; including five nieces and nephews, walking, gardening, and cooking. She enjoys meeting the new students each year, as well as seeing the returning kids and their families and how they grow through the years.

Emma McGuy (PM Assistant) Ms. Emma is ready to start her second year at Willett ABACUS and is looking forward to working with all the students, both new and old to ABACUS! She is an AHS grad who is currently a Senior wokring on a degree in Elementary Education and Special Eduction from Rhode Island College. She spends her free time in the great outdoors; hiking, running, and going to the beach!

Hannah Michienzi (HS Aide) Ms. Hannah is new to the ABACUS family this year. She is currently a student at Attleboro High School and has been dancing for 13 years. Ms. Hannah has two brothers, two puppies, and would like to be a surgeon some day. She is looking forward to being a part of the ABACUS team at Willett!

Kelley Rivera (Site Manager) Ms. Kelley is an eleven year ABACUS veteran. In addition to her EEC certification she has a Bachelors degree from Eastern Nazarene College. Ms. Kelley lives with her husband Kevin and cat Nena. She enjoys scrapbooking, singing, and spending time
with family, especially her great niece Juliana. She is looking forward to this school year and seeing new and old faces.

Sara Lou Skar (PM Assistant) Mrs. Skar has been a part of the ABACUS family for 17 years! She comes to Willett with over forty years of childcare experience, most recently from the Kindergarten Gallery at Thacher. Mrs. Skar is blessed with 12 grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her son’s dog, Bella.

Colin Whipple (PM Assistant) Mr. Colin been with the ABACUS program for three years, but he also brings experience as a CIT and a former student. He is a student at Attleboro High School. Mr. Colin loves art, creative writing, and his dream job is to someday be a Graphic Designer. He can’t wait to have a great school year with his students at Studley!
