Half Release Days

ABACUS will be open and operate from the dismissal of
school until 6:00 p.m. on half release days. The sign up is separate
from your child being enrolled in the program, even if they are enrolled
on that particular day of the week. A separate “yes or no” sign up
will be posted at the parent information table approximately two weeks
prior to the actual release day. There is an additional charge for your
child to attend that day. If you enroll your child to attend that day
and the sign ups are submitted to the office, you will be charged
whether or not your child attends.
We do require you pack a cold bagged lunch since there are no food services that day.
If you do not sign “yes” for your child to attend the
half release day and he/she comes to the program unexpected or you sign
up after the deadline, we will care for them and you will receive an
additional charge higher than the rate for the half release day.
We reserve the right to cancel or combine programs due to low enrollment.
The 2021-2022 half release day fee is an additional $20.00.
Payment
for this service may be added into your weekly tuition payment. We ask
that your account be in good standings before additional services are
rendered.
Dismissal Times
Elementary: 12:30 p.m.
Middle Schools: 11:30 a.m.
ALL elementary schools start at 8:45 a.m. and dismiss at 12:30 p.m. on Half Release Days
Full Release Days
ABACUS will not provide childcare on Full Release Days.
